Red Cross Medal 1981 Uncirculated

This medal was made by the U.S. Mint and is in the original cellophane plastic. It is made of bronze or copper and measures just over 38mm. One side features one person comforting another with the legend "People Helping People", as well as the dates 1881-1981 and "A Medal of the Congress". The other side has a large cross and the words "American Red Cross Ready for a New Century".
